Giraffe is one of the highest animals in the mainland. This animal is an animal herbivore. The special of this animal is have a long neck, functioning to make it easy to take a leaf in a tall tree. In ancient times the giraffe had two types, first the long neck giraffe as it is now, and there is a short neck but now it has been destroyed because it can’t reach the leaves in the high trees. 

The giraffe has an Arabic name and Latin name is girrafe camelopardalis. Male giraffe has a height of about 4.8 meters to 5.5 meters, weight 1360 kg. But the female giraffe has a shorter body. This animals have the original place in chad to south africa. giraffes have 9 subspecies in the world, different colors and different patterns. We can see giraffes in the zoo.
